  3. Wonderful message. Alive, Survive, Stive & Thrive. Yes it is trure & sad most people end up only in survival Phase. The one reach the thrive are very rare and are rare & successful.

  5. You’r so right Michael.. and the fish example is the best :)
Actually if we think on the story, we realize it’s harder for the fish to “climb” up to fresh water and thrive, and it’s so easy to just fall back in to the pond, and just stay alive…

Thank you for the great video Michael :)

  8. Hey! I’m a first timer to watching these video posts. Loved what you talked about. That’s a great story and it really does illustrate how most of the time animals have such a better sense for those four stages, because they never get bogged down with the distractions that most of us get faced with. I mean yes when tempted it’s very easy for them to get distracted, but it rarely happens.

I have been striving in the past months, i’ve been only SURVIVING for years, but finally made the shift mentally. And now i’m in the striving stage, which will soon move to thriving. I just know it!

    Thanks again for the post,
and i wonder, do you have a lavaliere mic, to attach to the camera, so there won’t be the small echo??

  9. Well Said Michael!

Although I think that for most successful people, even when your thriving, you need to still be striving to reach the next goal. It should never stop.

Because if you don’t keep striving, then aren’t you basically still just surviving?

Great video Michael, Keep Up The Great Work!

  10. Nice video, Michael

I think the phases are more like layers that build on each other.

Cyndi, not only do you have to keep striving (although I guess it is not so hard anymore when you are in the thriving phase), hopefully you will still survive and are still alive even in phase 4 ;-)

  11. I also think we can be in several of those phases at any one time. For example you can have a thriving great relationship yet be barely surviving in your business. I asked myself where I was and the answer was not great in my business but thriving in my health when I’m not too tired that is.

  12. Why do we have a tendency to put limitations
on ourselves ? Is it because we feel comfortable with the status quo and we don’t want to rock the boat or is it our enviroment and fear of any sudden changes in our lives ?
enjoyed the video its a refreashing change.thanks

  13. Dear Michael,

You’ve come up with another thought-provoking and momentum building video with an emphasis of climbing to the top of the four phases. It’s easy to remember and focus on implementing. Thanks for the advice to continue on the road to success and to keep on moving and don’t look back.

At the moment I am just about surviving in my internet business. BUT I am still very much focus in where I want to go.

  16. Hi Michael,

I am in Thrive mode, have been for a while. I have a couple of questions I would like to ask you that I am very curious and confused about.

Before I do I would just like to mention to everyone here not to worry or think too much. I don’t know how many of you play golf but if you do you know what happens when you step up to hit the ball and you start to think too much. You think about all the things you should be doing to properly hit the ball, what position your arms are in, your wrists, your grip on the club, did you lift your head, bend your knees and so on and so on and so on….. you have so many different things on your mind and thinking of all the right things you should be doing while you are swinging your club to hit the ball you get overwhelmed with thought and you slice your ball into the woods!! happens every time you think too much! anyone who Golfs knows exactly what I am talking about. Just keep your goals in mind and keep the momentum going and you will automatically go through the phases, subconsciously, as you swing the club to hit the ball. Same as you would do while going through all the phases to reach Thriving mode. You will know when you are there but don’t think about it too much. That’s when you get overwhelmed and start worrying and start sliding down hill. Just be comfortable to know when you are there and keep the momentum going towards your goals and you will automatically go through all the phases while trying to reach your goals. Just my opinion, but it works for me.

Now Michael, I am very curious about the 1/4 million you made in 7 days. I have been thinking about it and that means you made approximately $35,800.00 per day to reach the goal of 1/4 million in 7 days. What I would like to know is what were you selling, doing and how were you doing it? did you have a pile of affiliates working for you? were you on your own? I just can’t figure out what you were doing to bring in $35,800.00 a day for 7 days?? was it a product you were selling?? how much were you charging for it?? you must have been selling a SHIT LOAD of product each day to bring in $35,800.00 per day?? Can you shed some light on this for me?? what the process was and how you kept that momentum going for 7 days at $35,800.00 per day?? Do you understand what I am asking and why??

    Thanks in advance,

    Jack
