  2. The Xmas Gift Of Love.

    It’s Christmas, and my presents
    all fit inside a sock.
I’m thrilled to bits to find some nuts,
    and apple and a pear.
    But wait; what’s this,
    another present there?

    A little plastic notebook,
    (real crocodile skin for sure).
I can write out special secrets now,
and post them through the door.

My friend and I are getting old,
we’re eight now don’t you know.
The sisters in the big house,
our love we can now show.

    “Corrinne, Stanley loves you”
    seemed to be just right.
We crept up to the door,
    slipped it through
    and ran with fright.

We watched then from a distance,
    behind the hawthorn tree.
Stanley tried to push me back.
The thorns all stuck in me.

It made me scream and shout,
    as Stanley picked me out.
    Then to my despair,
    I saw Corrinne standing there.

With her sisters she was laughing
for all her worth at me.
But I didn’t find it funny,
    falling back into that tree.

    The message from the notebook
served a purpose, that’s for sure.
As after that, we were good friends.
No need to slip notes through the door.

    The notebook,
    “nothing special”,
    I can hear you say.
But without that piece of paper,
we’d have missed that special day.

I might have had a bicycle,
    toy cars, or books galore.
But the memory of ‘that little book’
    will stay, forever more.

A gift of LOVE was given.
It was all could be afforded.

I took the gift of LOVE with pride,
    and so,
    I was rewarded.

  3. Hey Michael,

Looking back on where you’ve come from. Great advice.

I always ask myself at this time of year, “What have you achieved? What have you learnt in the last 12 months?”.

And that leads to the third question. “How will you take what you have learnt and make the coming 12 months even better?”

Most people never take the time out from everyday life to even decide what they want, never mind how they are going to get it.

This is a great time of year to take some time on your own, away from work, away from the computer and just sit and do some serious thinking about what you WANT in the coming year and what you are going to DO to achieve it.

Have a great Christmas Michael and here’s to another great year in 2008!

    regards

  4. You are a fun and standup person and that is a kind and unusual comment from a card carrying *&^$%$ like myself.

We have traveled very different paths in life. I have spent most of my life putting people in prison and sitting or standing before some people who themselves are not in any way nice or kind.

That is all over now. Now I am just an almost blind gimp.

  5. Another brilliant video Michael
As I ponder the past year
    2007s almost over
    2008 is almost here

On looking back 1 year ago
    To where I meekly stood
I’d have to say without remorse
    That things are looking good

And so I end this witty ditty
    Introspective and reflective
I’ll give you credit once again
For putting life in proper perspective

    Merry Christmas,

  6. Mike,

Thanks for another great video which was on the mark and reminded me about “perspective”
and where I have have come from and where I still need to be.

Some of my goals for 2007 were met but the big one is still there and I will chase it again in 2008.

    Have a great Christmas.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2008. Thanks for the great video messages on Get Momentum TV. I was wondering if you have your own private limited company. I have created a company but, I am finding it difficult getting it off the ground, any advice? Thanks.

  11. Hello Michael,

I just found out that my daughter seldom has the same boyfriend from one Christmas to another. But the difference this year is that she has married with her soulmate.

Well, what is Christmas for me? A time filled with light… living light…
Light in the darkness… shine for all to see…

Wish you the very best year of 2008!
