  2. Hey Mix Master Mike

I like to listen to Bill Wither’s Lovely day every day!

I have listened to it every morning for the last 6 months.

I also like “I need a hero” and the pointer sisters, “I am so excited”.

My theme tune is Tina Turner’s “Simply The Best”. Although when I sing along, its more like “I am the best!”.

Other notable mentions go out to Frank Sinatra, and “My Way”, Queen’s “We are the champions” and classic dutch and Belgian techno!

All the best with taking the average to great in 2008.

P.S. Remember it only takes a moment to create momentum!

  5. Hi michael,

I had a theme tune, that really wakes me up in the morning. :)
It’s an old soundtrack song for TOPGUN “the movie”

    Kenny Loggins, Danger Zone.

this song I used it as in alarm in my cellphone.

    Ali

  6. Yeah, I have the the Top Gun theme in my car stereo. I play it a couple of times every time I drive and it always makes me feel like I could take on the world. Though I’m not a big fan of Tom Cruise.

I have another cd that I play on my laptop whenever I am in need of “Powering Up” or waking up, it’s Angelis. Not exactly a manly sound but they are inspirational.

Music therapy I suppose you could call it.

By the way, Michael what has caused the change in you? You are different lately. It all started when you began filming in your living room and drinking tea with us.

You are much more lively and jolly. You look like someone who just won the lotto but wasn’t telling. It’s good, keep it up.

    Regards
    Gerry

  14. It is said that we spend a great deal of time admiring the inventions of women/men while we spend hardly anytime appreciating our bodies how they have been put together. It is for me the ONLY
MACHINE I know that improves ‘greatly’ with “GOOD” use.
Exercise does great things for the human body. It improves all the systems especially the mental faculty, bone density, heart power, joints strength and flexibility, the list is endless. Thank you for waking us up to this FACT. ACTION !!
ACTION !! ACTION !! and the happier we will be.

  15. I actually wake up in STEREO!

    With Stereo Music,

Yes >> TWO <<< Speakers, at both sides
    of my bed ! !

O.K. this might be a little ‘to much’ for most people, but I happen to love Music and some years ago I worked in the Music Business, so I do think I am allowed to a certain kind of ‘weirdness’ in this area. It’s not that I wake up in ‘Surround Sound’ yet. (although that actually might not be a bad idea.)

BTW did everybody already see the
    CHRISTMAS MUSIC ‘Video-Splash-Widget’
    on my site?

    All the Best,

  16. Michael,

This is going to sound unbelievable but I swear it’s the truth. That little video you did about music and energy is one of the most profound and brilliant videos that I have ever watched.

The message is so simple, so obvious, yet has eluded me for decades. Music generally distracts me because I get too involved listening to the words. So I usually work in silence and rely on caffinated energy drinks to keep me going.

But your idea of getting a theme song was an epiphony to me. Now I can save about $5 bucks a day on energy drinks.

    Thank You,
    Carl Willoughby

  21. Michael, you are so right, music is a very powerful medium with the power to motivate and uplift. For me, that great Irishman, Christy Moore, must be one of the most inspirational singers ever. To anyone who has never had the pleasure of listening to Christy, I unreservedly recommend his recent studio album, Burning Times. What amazing songs, what an incredible voice, and what passion! Unfortunately he has never received the recognition (and radio airplay) he so richly deserves. May 2008 correct this sad situation.

Michael, keep well, keep up the good work, and keep the momentum going.

    Best wishes

  22. The single best thing I ever did for my sanity was to subscribe to Rhapsody. This is a music service that costs $10 per month available through Real or AudioGalaxy.com. It’s a player that streams music. But it’s so much more than that. It has nearly every song you can think of, any band or artist. When you listen to a particular artist, it shows that artists influences and also his/her/it’s followers. So through that, I have so many awesome bands that I never would have heard of. It also has stations based on your listening preferences… just check it out… there’s no way I can describe all it does. But with, I listen to music every single minute I am on the computer… and that’s a lot of time. I also bought a headphone out to RCA stereo cord so now, even thought the music streams through my computer, it comes out my stereo system. Try it!
