Michael
Had Us laughing because brought back days when Foster Dad who was always watching weight because a Fire Fighter always said Best Exercise can learn is the “Push Away Exercise” so was always ok what’s that? … He’d go it means “Push Yourself Away from the Table” the table is not a Hogs Trough and we’d just all burst out laughing if knew the value of good Firehouse Cooking would see easier said then done
Brought out some really simple but hardly followed tips … Biggest was do not Starve the Body it truely is if Body thinking Starving it will as say actually store food
Learned that trick in a Nutritional Class to Lose weight in College this secret alone helped to shed 40 lbs in 6 weeks with a walking regiment plus giving up all sugars especially alcohol based drinks is why Weight Watchers if follow their eat veggies and other substitutes actually get body to burn off excess fat
Loved the info on Robots they sure do package the foods not only in Eye Tempting Packages also in Quanities that can lead to excess … if stop to think will revert you back to good old natural meats and veggies plus fruit just with that tip
So Thanks Mike

Are you sure beer doesn’t count as water?
Ok, only because I trust you Michael.

Michael,
Does this apply to eating on a cruise ship?
Gorging on all foods all the time, midnight buffets, snacks, tall tropical drinks, 2nd helpings, etc. - AND you’re surrounded by - WATER!

Hi Michael,
I love your videos. I’ve been on a vegan diet for 2 years and I have so much energy now. I believe a balanced vegan diet is the best diet possible. I read about a study a few months ago that found that a vegan person is 10 times less likely than a meat eater to develop cancer during his/her life. I’m looking forward to your next videos. Thanks

Thanks Michael:
Excellent advice! About 5 years ago, I’d lost 50 pounds due to illness, landed in the hospital and found the only things I wanted to eat and drink were fruit and fruit juice. From the hospital, I was sent to a nursing home for physical rehab. I kept up the fruit-fruit juice routine as best as I could. I lost another 65 pounds.
In the 4 years since, I got out of the nursing home and have only gained about 15 pounds back. Eating the way you recommend is definitely the way to go.
The only thing I would add as a #5, would be: “If you’re over 55, eat your main meal before 3 p.m. to aid your body’s metabolism.”
Thanks.

Great video bro. I have been trying for years to get my Ma and Pa to drink more water. They seem to think coffee and beer is enough h20.
I have hemochromatosis [iron overload]and I need to have blood drained every month to lower the iron levels in my blood. I drink a ton of water all day long to thin my blood and make thinks easier for blood removal. I noticed that when I started my water indulgence that my lower back pain just went away. Ahhh…water, what a wonder.

Michael,
I know your not a doctor, maybe a nutritional expert? Is a huge prime rib of beef smothered in mushroom gravy and served with yourkshire pudding better for me than Mrs Swansons hungry
man frozen dinner? I guess if I add water as a beverage I’ll be safe.

You are right - about water particularly ! From the time I took advice to drink 1-2 litres of water B4 breakfast, my physical and mental bodies have worked very much better.
THANK YOU !
And do keep (me!) going…!

Hi Michael,
I know when I hand my son a juicy red apple I sometimes feel like the old witch in the woods tempting Snow White with her poisonous offering. Its so hard today to know even with fresh food, that you are doing the right thing and not loading up with toxins, even after a good wash.
And as for water, we drink at our peril. Maintaining good health through good nutrition today is a minefield. And that’s before we even deal with the ethics of eating animals we’ve reared for the purpose. Or heavens forbid, the ones we get naturally like fish from our polluted seas. What’s a gal to do?
